Mission trip aids Canton

A mission team from various churches in our Presbytery earlier this month had a good week in Canton helping that community in its ongoing effort to recover from flooding. The team worked on three houses during its week-long stay.

“Laid laminate floor in a 12-sided house. Challenging,” said the Rev. Robert Abel. “Built a basement for a crane to set a tiny house on top of. Built steps and railings and set 6x6 deck supports for a big house. All had experienced water damage. We also got a tour of Beloved Asheville Wednesday afternoon.”
